24 Best Business Books for Entrepreneurs in 2019
I’m a big believer in entrepreneurs finding mentors & coaches…there is no better teacher than experience and mentorship can be invaluable to both the growth of your company and (more importantly) you as an individual. I’ve been blessed to have some pretty incredible mentors in my life but good mentors are hard to come by – and not always available to you. Even during the phases of my career where I haven’t had an active mentor – mentorship & coaching has always been fully available to me…through books!
Over the last decade, I’ve read a lot of marketing and business books and I still have a massive stack yet to read.
I have never read a book without a pen at the ready to highlight the sections I love and I always try and take notes (especially when listening to audiobooks).
Of the ones I’ve read so far here is my list of essential reading for entrepreneurs:
Ben Horowitz -The Hard Thing About Hard Things
Purple Cow – Seth Godin
Built to Last – Jim Collins
Good to Great – Jim Collins
Made to Stick – Chip & Dan Heath
All Marketers Are Liars – Seth Godin
The Lean Start Up – Eric Ries
The First 90 Days – Michael D. Watkins
