“We got this order from Holt Renfrew, and I’m like, oh my gosh we’re gonna be huge! Ya know fast forward, I get a call and somebody’s like – I now know why you call the underwear naked, because it doesn’t stay on when you wear it. And I’m like, what do you mean? He’s like, it falls right off. And obviously the feeling where your heart goes into your stomach – and sure enough, we had not design the product correctly for a number of the size categories, and the underwear just shot right off. – ya know, our waistband less theory had failed, and I had to retract 19,000 pairs of underwear I had to figure out how to turn the business around with this thing, and like, failure asks you the question – do you wanna keep going?”
